Description

The ticket booth has got to be someone's idea of punishment... small, cramped, smells like the last person that worked there, hot in summer, unlivable in winter... people asking for change, arguing over the prices... wanting special deals because of all the kids they're baby sitting.... and then, put the ticket booth right beside a kids ride, with all those screaming little, ankle biters... 'tisn't fair, i tells you tisn't fair at all... I love the look on the lady's face... couple quick things... a) always carry a camera with you... even those cheaply creeply point and shoot pocket cameras... just in case there's that once in a lifetime images happening right in front of you... b) while I'm doing these shots... four songs come to mind... Tom Cochrane's "Big League" John Mellencamp's "Small Town" John Hiatt's "slow Turning" and of course the Last of the full Grown Men, Webb Wilder's "Human Cannonball" hope you enjoys dis!

This must be the capture of the day! Colin, ... imagine having to get up and out of bed ... every morning ... to face this! I'd go Cuckoo ... still, it's a job and pays - but I would take a good book! ;) or sneak in a camera ... ;) BB
