Well, here's my "Courtesy vote..." When I first saw this, I thought it was done in Vue (a $600.00 app.), not a free version of Terragen. To me, that indicates talented hands at work, and not a 5-minute-work. You just keep on keepin' on, Corrie! You were far more ......gentle..... in your response to torteg than I would have been.. I'm viewing your gallery for the first time, and I like what I see - very much. I'm adding you as a fave.

I like the way it came out and felt its a great distance shot. Upon reading the coments and later justification of torteg's views, I went to his page and found it interesting that to me, he failed to meet his primary need of, There is no "eyecatcher", the image doesn't tell a kind of a story. Every picture should have some points the eyes are attracted to. The terrain just looks like a small detail a of a much larger picture. It looks boring, sorry. Yes, he has some great looking work, but I didn't see anything "eyecatching" about any of them, nor did I get any kind of "story" from them. So, I have no idea why he should get so criticle about your (or anyone else's) work. I liked his work, but not for his reasons. I guess that's what makes us all different. Great work :)

I really do not care about what that A** has said because this is a beautiful piece of art my favorite thing in life is mountains and i love this image.

You are the soul of Kindness and Gentleness. I would've told the guy to 'eat sh*t'! Certainly he was much more constructive and helpful in emails, which is what he should've done in comments. I personally liked the minimalist view of the bitter cold winter mountain.

Lovely image! I like the way the clouds mimic the shape of a mountain range. I like the combination of contrast in texture and similarity in shape. Nice textures and light.
