I avoid rendering close ups like the plague but, your work is incredible. Fantastic texturing and lighting. Realistic beyond compare. I have to know, it seems like he is looking at something. Something that has him thinking. Did you intend to get that effect? If so, what is he looking at?

I have only one comment on your picture (except from that it's beautiful!) - make his nostrils darker. Great work otherwise!

Wow, I am really happy for the comments...to be honest these pictures take on a life and personality of their own, what I start out with changes along the process... the nostrils are a bit light, I fixed the nose, it was really bright in the original lighting...
