I'm sorry I didn't get a full three-quarter front view when I was walking around the vehicle. I think I was more fascinated by the unique tail rotor than anything else. The second photo is for those who refuse to zoom.
Auf wiedersehen, and have a nice day.

Fantastic work on this very cool collage Harry

This has got to be the oddest color helicopter I have seen....sure stands out, can't miss it in the sky...which I'm sure is why they chose this color. Really one fancy and expensive flying machine, and I LOVE that tail rotor also. Very cool. Our local hospital helicopter also has one of those circular covered rotors. That rotor sure would make quick work of slicing onions and potatoes...just throw them through (just kidding).

LOL at morningglory's last sentence!

What a beauty! When my friend Denis was manager of a rubber plantation in India his houseboy ran out to welcome a guest arriving by helicopter an got sliced in two by the rear rotor. A good idea therefore to have this arrangement.

Hopelessly nerdy, perhaps, but I do have a Transformers figure based on this helicopter's color scheme and design: http://www.tfu.info/2008/Autobot/TFUBlades/blades.htm Pretty cool to have such detailed photos of the real thing.

The colour is Hi-Vis of course, shows up well at sea and is pretty much standard over the world, on all SAR Helos.. If not all, then parts of.. The Tail Rotor, first appeared in the Gazelle, made by Westland, it saves drag.. (as you can probably work out..).. Quite a few European Helicopters use it.. Though not many U.S. ones.. Strange that,as it saves drag and gives it more speed? But! Great shots mate.. WELL DONE! Rob

That tail rotor is quite striking, but then the whole thing is exceptional, isn't it? What a beauty! Excellent spread of shots, Harry, well done and lucky you to see this up close and personal!

That's a gorgeous helicopter. Though I've always wanted to fly in one of these aircraft; I'm just a tad skittish about a helicopter built by the French. They are known to make great onion and potato slicers. That comment was very funny. :-] Nice collage
