Description
These are houses that reproduce those of Oetzi's village in Senales Valley during the Neolithic/ Copper Age. Inside they are empty, but when Oetzi was alive they hosted a hollow central fireplace in the dirt floor and a number of shelves hosting jugs, pitchers, bowls etc. and sleeping areas.
It's not sure that the Iceman lived in Val Senales, however, we are sure that he crossed part of the valley, entering in Val Tisa and died on the Tisa Ridge.Hop hornbeam pollen was found in Oetzi's body (Ostra carpinifoglia). This plant hates ice and grows to the south of the alpine peaks. Moss which was found close to the Iceman's body and clothes grew only to the south of the Alps and certainly not at high altitude.
