Last pics from the cat show yesterday. I am not able to decide whether the cats enjoy the showing or no. It is not like dog showing & the cats cannot be shown every week, they have to give at least a fortnight between shows. They also have to be seen by a vet (when I first started showing, dogs had to too) to make sure they are healthy & have no fleas etc. Some people (not necessarily these in the pic) put so much decoration in the pens that there is no room for the cat to stretch out & a lot of them tend to sit in their litter trays. I have to say though, they were beautifully clean & well groomed & looked so well. But you could say the same for dogs, (except for litter trays of course) a lot of them are put on their benches when they arrive at shows, taken off to go in the ring & put back on until they go home, NOT everyone does this but a lot do. In all the years I have been showing (more than I care to remember) my girls have NEVER been left on a bench. I go to get their numbers, put the bag on there & then they NEVER leave me except when I pay a visit to the ladies room :o), when Toniann holds them. That is me though, as you already know I am DAFT :o)

Wonderful collage Barbara, all the kitties are so cute. Maybe Mr. Buck can enjoy looking at the photos with you since he missed getting to go to the show to see it in person ;)

Your girls are so lucky Barbara. It is sad but the vast majority of pets are not as well looked after as yours are. The cats in your collage don't look like they are particularily enjoying the show process. I know my cats would hate it. :)

Thank goodness not all the shows are like this one, as there are only very few decorated cages at the normal shows, most are not. I only showed cats twice, I simply hated it when at nine am everyone had to leave their cats while the judges judged. Wonderful collage of your day out Barbara, thank you, hugs and love xxxxxx

The cat top left looks cute :) I wouldn't leave a dog anywhere because I worry that someone may steal them. Certainly never leave a dog in the car, not even for a few minutes !

Had cats and dogs as a kid but as an adult - with only sons - dogs was the way to go. These cats are beautiful but not house cats that chase mice in the garden! Beautiful montage!
