Hi, I'm Andrea, and I'm interested in creatures and plants both wild and tamed, and people of all sorts. I onlyĀ use a compact digital camera ,as I love being able to get it into a back pocket, and not have to cart heavy kit about. IĀ carry a Panasonic Lumix TZ series,Ā binoculars and a hand lens almost everywhere. Most of my outings are with the dogs so I only use point and shoot.
IĀ am gettingĀ theĀ hang ofĀ Photoshop, thanks to some very kind folk on RR!Ā
I have a wildlife gardenĀ in Bournemouth, Dorset, in the UK, and spend a lot of time there . I retired from teaching art to teenagersĀ a while ago.
I'mĀ now getting some good results withĀ my digi compacts; it took me a while to make the switch from my old film camera, an 1960 ish Pentax Spotmatic, butĀ the mistakes are much cheaper!Ā Ā
I haveĀ 4 lodgers,Ā 3 dogs and a parrot who, as at 2017, I have had 40 years.
I has so far had 19 dogs, mostly rescues.

Very suspicious, what do they have to say for themselves? It's lovely anyway, this part you can access...

it does make one wonder what is there. great capture I do hope that there will be someone who will set the WW down and have a serious discussion about access

Aha so the brits have their own version of Area 51 :) That is the super secret area in the states that conspiracy folks are convinced the US govt is housing aliens. This spot sounds very suspicious too. :) Wonderful capture of this lovely looking area.

A most beautiful impression of your heath, Andrea. It's a pity it's forbidden to walk there (on the left area).

This is gorgeous, and I'm from Chicago and I have to say that if you're not allowed to walk somewhere, that's because the forbidden place is where the bodies are hidden, but the graves are shallow and so if you weigh more than a sparrow and the murderer (probably a political figure) is still alive...nobody can walk across his (or her)...um...little secret. Well, that's the rumor, anyway. No matter: this is a great shot and I love all of the various natural colors. It looks quite peaceful there.

Very frustrating not to be able to take a look at the lake but this looks to be a great track to take your fur family for a walk. A lovely capture.

It's a beautiful area. It seems the shenanigans of the companies can always be hidden from scientists and government agencies, and it happens here, too. Why are they always so protected....and that question always goes unanswered.

We need to get in there and find out... :) Aloha

So, that's what Talbot Heath looks like in November. Who knows what danger lurks behind the bushes.
