Description
The Orange-spotted Tiger Clearwing or Disturbed Tigerwing is a butterfly of the family brush footed butterfly Nymphalidae. It is found from Mexico to the Amazon Rainforest. The wingspan is about 2.6 to 3 inches (65 to 75 mm). Info from Wikipedia. Not one of my best shots but it would not stay still and to beautiful not to post. Do zoom.
My friend Angelo is recovering, not so comfortably, from a triple bypass, repaired Mitral heart valve and a new bovine (cow) Aortic heart valve. His ribs had been cracked open and he is in so much pain. He told me to let him die next time and that he would kill me if I let them take him to the
hospital again. Good thing that he is only five foot two inches and much older than me. I think that I could take him in his current condition. HaHaHa.

Lovely shot and image! Having had the exact same surgery two years ago, I know exactly how he feels. If his doctors haven't told him yet, it feels better to hold a pillow up to your chest when you breathe deep( which you should do frequently), and especially when you cough.

Great shot Dana! Best wishes to Angelo, I've been there and done that except for the valve grinding...maybe that's coming yet! On the good side, that was almost 20 years ago and I'm still sucking wind! So tell him he will feel better. Having bypass surgery ruins your whole day.

Good shot in that the girth of it's body is still seen with the beauty of it's wings. That's how the elderly thank one another, yes...lol! Good to hear he pulled through such a surgery.
