My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

looks like we're getting ready to fly away Great capture Tara

That is so cool, it's easy to imagine all kinds of stories behind these, but they also exist in their own way separate from any story at all, which is probably the coolest thing of all. Beautiful photo!

Great capure! Love texture's contrast between the fabric and leaves

This made me think of a pollock painting

And it lets the light and shadows through. Nice design elements. Well seen.

A very clever idea, and a dynamic composition.

A pleasing composition - the smooth expanse of semi-transparent fabric contrasts nicely with the tangle of branches...

The strong lines against the soft foliage make a certain winner!

A good idea! Would never have thought of it.. And, its nice to see they have made them to fit in with the environment, not bright pink or something! Good one Tara! Rob

These are a great idea and I saw a lot of them when I was in Australia. They do have graceful lines.

It almost looks like the wings of a Dragon sitting just off camera. Very well seen, and a great shot, Tara!

Love the diagonals and colors. The shade was very welcome as I recall.

Now THAT is something that needs to be employed everywhere! I love the shape and the fact that it's functional. Of course, when I saw the name "Desert Sails" I thought that the were sails used by the desert when it needed to go somewhere. I love the shape and the colors!
