I recently had a chance to visit Galveston with a member here who is also my best friend, and we had such a wonderful time I had to share the view from our hotel. Michael thank you for such a wonderful time and all the fun memories we made while we traveled down to Texas and then to New Orleans and our trip back to Tennessee. He drove up to Tennessee and picked me up and we than drove down to Texas with a stop over in Chattanooga, then on to Galveston where we stayed a few days and I had the chance to meet his mom and daughter and her fiance, and see his son again. Michael took me on a tour of NASA and I got a little bit of a behind the scene look at his work and office, including the track where the astronauts do their running, I thought that was very interesting. Than we headed east and did a couple days of worth of walking tours, and tasted a little of the local cuisine including a couple of Hand Grenade cocktails on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, I have the pictures to prove it. Beware Michael haha, then it was back to Tennessee and my time to take Michael around and we visited a Mill and a few other places and spent a few days out taking photos of the area. Thanks again for such a fun time and I will cherish it forever.

Very scenic...wow what a view..... and I have always loved that song by him..... can hear it in my head now..... Great pic and welcome back.... Thought I had turned e bots off my sons dad passed away Friday and I have been really sick not up to answering any e bots but I am some... Glad I got to see this one.. Say a prayer for my son he has had a rough year... First My hubby passed away in June...his best friend Jimmy in August..and his dad Roger Friday... Just told my cousin I hope no one in our family dies around the holidays.... My prediction failed..........she runs the cigarette shop and she has had to share along with me..............I had Thanksgiving...was sick but had it Hope you had a good one....... Love this and its a fav Hugs Susan Learning how to work this new laptop splurged and got me a newbie...Gateway NE series....so different than the other one.............

Oh, its nice to hear from you again Lynell. Glad to hear you had such a great time. I've never been to Galveston though it does look lovely from this shot - I love these dusk-like scenes. I have been to Bourbon Street and tasted her wears - intoxicating to say the least.
