Description

Two A-7s of VA-113 Stingers, Viet Nam conflict era, out for a prowl. The famed "Dump Trucks" are without a load this time. I think that the first time I heard the cockpit referred to as "the office" was in conjunction with the A-7. This is more of an experiment than anything else. The A-7 put together with parts of models from all over the place, tweaked, cobbled, and added to, re-textured, with large amounts of post work. Ships are: USS Vincennes (Briney free on sharecg, USS New Jersey, and USS Enterprise...so far in the distance that they nearly defy any recognition. Dump Truck pilots are Max Greuter's Jet Pilot on sketchup warehouse...free. c4d 6XL, Vue6Infinite, PS Cs3

'put together'...now I'll have to think of a term for un-steelrazer'ing.. LoL You've done a marvelous job here Bill, the planes are very well 'put together', great water and I like the ships 'in the mist', they're there but not distracting from the A7's. This has to be a test flight, I've never seen an A7 with less than a B-29's load strapped to it. I hope you'll do some more of this 'steelunrazering' it's cool! but still blow s*%t up, you do that so well too :-)

These are exceptional Bill and I am very impressed with your hacking these together..one would never know. As usual you have a real sense of flight, handled the water perfectly and the ships in the distance really add to the realism. You must be using C4D to put these objects together from different sources and really happy to see you doing this. Now I can see this picture about twice as wide with them flying over a downed plane : ) Oh 5+

I always loved how the A7's looked, this is a great render of a couple of beautiful war birds in flight. You did a great job on these!

Fantastic! The "Big 'E'" is of course instantly recognizable, even from the thumbnail :)

Great composition- models look first rate and always adds something to have a bit of a navy in the background...

Wow great. It's not only put together... LOL The composition is perfect. I imagine they come back from a sortie somewhere in NV or from a bombing range somewhere near the west coast off Point Mugu...

Great work on the A-7's. I am always more impressed by pics where there is model work as well as the scene setup.
