This also reminds me of your fractals...it's so vivid and so complex, and so city-like in the way the fungi make "neighborhoods" and take over the tree trunk. For a close-up, it's filled with life and all kinds of variety---like a big city, with lots of suburbs around it. The moss on the bottom, and the leaves on the top add another layer of complexity to it all. A big teeming "jungle"---all contained in a small trunk and its surrounding. Another intimate yet monumental shot from you. Beautiful.
