I know I was going to do fractals, right now, but I saw this photo that never commented on, and I had to comment! This is quite dramatic, and your composition is amazing---the water in front is amazing, as it 'opens up' to us. And then those huge muscular rocks 'take over', above the water---and they're so heavy and strong. And then the mountainside above the rocks---very rough and beautifully craggy. Then, all this heavy stone and shadow is balanced by a big burst of light, at the left-top---you let in the light and the light-colored stone. (With a solo tree in the middle of it all.) It looks like the beginning of a new journey. Full size (zoomed), this is quite sweeping...You have a real eye for these intimate places in nature, and yet you still get monumentality. I'm beginning to see a connection between some of your fractals and your photography, too, because your nature-photography can be very architectural, just like your fractals are. Another fav. This is glorious.
