Well, down at 'The Plant' things are moving along quite nicely.The TBF Avenger is progressing with 'a vengance'....sorry! I was in work today but popped down to The Plant in my lunch break, (joy of having my own autogyro :-) However I wished I'd stayed in the Bowling Ally, better still in bed, things have reached 'that' point...no good having a carrier aircraft if the wings can't fold.Time for a little Steelrazer'ing and Doctor Von Krupp was just getting to grips with her second favorite appliance an angle grinder.I covered my eyes as the first spark hit the floor, I was in 'Little Nellie' (the Autogyro not my secretary) half way back to New Brighton when the second one struck.I'm sure all will be fine, Doctor Von Krupp has steady hands,(except after a session with her favorite appliance), besides I had the workshop make a couple of spare wings...just in case.Armaments should arrive tomorrow, including a spare torpedo....I wish Tailspin hadn't seen Alicefromthelake's 'Doctor Strangelove' post, we've got to drain the Duck Pond to get the U-Boat back......again! Ah well, 02:00am time for a couple of hours 'kip', then back to it.....stay tuned.

Well, it is one way to get those things apart! Just make sure you have some industial grade super glue on hand just in case. Coming along nicely!

I'm just assuming that the good Doctor is competent with that "appliance". (Come to think of it, I could use one of those things to good advantage!) If I was in your shoes, I would not have been able to leave the building if she had that thing still plugged in. Very safety conscious of her to set up the barriers there...guaranteed to keep the crowds away...the boss for sure! Looking good, Neil!

Oh my! Guaranted to drop... the WINGS when ready to drop a torpedo, and to eject the pilot's potty (excluding the contents) when going in for a strafing run! My, this quack doctor must be a 5th columnist for sure! Poor duckies (if there are any survivors!), and the U-boat? Probably in a variety of smaller pieces. So, get a big magnet instead of draining the pond (it's a lot less messy, too, considering torpedoed duckies!). Now, where was I before being side-tracked by Planted Catastrophes? Ah, yes... nice photo! Must have been taken by the security camera. Very good job on the plane and its texture map! Looks nice and weather beaten. Now, as a punishment for blowing up poor little innocent duckies (and dare I say, u-boats), Tailspin is assigned testing this plane with the doc's wing modifications! This includes a live torpedo run (in the messed up pond) and a strafing run. Just to see that all functions as intended (and I don't mean dropping the wings instead of the torpedo!). Keep up the good work! :-)
