Description
The first Saturday of every month, Eureka, California has "Arts Alive" in Old Town and Downtown Eureka. It's lots of fun--art, music, food, people and you don't have to spend a cent if you don't want to. I went with a friend this month and dodging raindrops, we walked and looked and I took fotos. Lots of the shops had live models and this little place was my favorite. It's a vintage second hand store, and this young woman was one of who were modeling. I love her look, and even though I shot this thru a window, I was still pleased with the result.
BTW--just bought a new camera, the newest Fuji and spent the day at the beach trying it out. Stay tuned!!

Great set of shoulders on the spaced out model, Maz. I don't know, if I want to go window shopping, I go to a place that sells or makes windows. Just like garage or yard sales...how many people out there want to buy a garage or a yard? Good luck with your new Fuji.

What a shot! She's so elegant and refined...the perfect model, if you ask me. I love the fact that a store hires models! That's as it should be. I like thru-the-window shots too, and this one has a dreamy quality to it. I love her expression and you captured it perfectly. Aren't new cameras fun!? I look forward to seeing more from it.
