Description

Seven greenfinches and one chaffinch. All very busy. Taken with my Olympus and the biggest lence for zoom. Have a lovely day/evening. We had last night -15 degrees celcius frost some places in Denmark. But only -4 during the daytime in this area :) Thank you for your always welcome viewing, commenting and fav to my previous post. :-)

What an absolute delight! This sort of feeder is no good in my garden as I have a plague of squirrels!

What a party! The guests are so well dressed! We actually have a few greenfinches in Chicago; well, at least one. Maybe a tourist, though, I can't be sure. I love their arrangement. This image is making me think of all sorts of things that will probably come out of a story: one of those things is the way in which birds, just by their shapes, make me think of music notes: I think it's the way their heads and tails look. This is marvelous, and quite inspiring!

Great shot! It is -20°C here right now but it will be sunny and up to -7 or so tomorrow. I'm feeding sunflower seeds to my birds too, but I don't get these pretties, I mostly just get sparrows. AT these temperatures they go through a lot of seed because after a new snowfall they have a hard time finding food. All day today I have been editing photos of a young woman from Denmark. She is probably the most beautiful woman I have ever photographed. Such a pleasure to work on her photos. Please send more of them to Canada, thank you, LOL!
