it bothers me in this one that the guns were the legal property of the shooter's mother.....I cannot wrap my mind around this one! I cry out for those who died. I hurt inside and yet I cannot ease the pain that the parents feel tonight. very beautiful tribute Richard sorry about the rambling

This is such a tragic event that makes it seem so much worse when it involves children

Did she not have her guns locked up, knowing her son was 'troubled'? This is becoming disturbingly common. What happened today was terrible and very sad because it was children mostly who were killed, but I find any incidence of this to be terrible and sad. There was also a Memphis police officer shot and killed today who was the mother of four children. At the Batman theater shooting here one man lost first his and his 'new' wife's unborn child and then his wife because of that person. It's all sad and awful.

It,s a sad thing to see news of another gun related tragedy and it leaves us feeling pretty frustrated in knowing that more innocent people will become victims in the future, we live in a very sick world Richard. I'm just glad the gutless bastards off'd themselves, Very nice tribute sir... :0(

It seems to me that just about every two weeks some A-hole thinks he's bad with a gun and decides to show how bad he really is by taking other lives for no reason and then kills himself so he don't have to sit in a prison the rest of his life, so he saves the state money and takes his own life. But why take innocent people and in this case little children, how sad this is, just what has become of this crazy world, has it all gone nuts? I feel very sorry for the parents of these children, my heart goes out to them. Why do these kinds of people what to take other innocent people down with them, just shoot yourself if that's what you have to do and leave innocent people alone. I'm sorry but I think the gun laws need to be changed, this has gotten so out of hand today. Thanks for the Pic Richard it says it all.

Very fine tribute, Richard. This event has haunted me since I first saw the breaking news. Events of this nature have become too frequent in our country and when it involves children, it strikes an emotion that cannot be described in words. When are we, as a Nation, going to let it be known that we'd had enough of this unbridled insanity. This sad and tragic event, happening at a time when joy is to be felt, remember joy, has struck me as hard as 911. I have lived a lot of years and I have experienced a lot of things, some good, a lot not so, but never anything such as these events. God help us all, we desperately need it. Enough said, my friends!

I'm pretty sure if I walked up to the doors of a school here I would not be able to get in. Gone are the days of open doors and visitors allowed in the halls. I wonder how this kid was able to walk in with guns. Very sad.

Every mass killer in the news for the last thirty years has been on anti depressant drugs. I wonder what is happening behind the closed doors in the doctor's office? What is it about these drugs that sends people over the edge? How many of the people prescribing them are on the payroll of Pharmaceutical companies or the government? No this is not a RANDOM nut job. Somebody put this man on the course that he followed. Same with the Colorado shooter. Somebody is talking to these people inside their heads and in their own voice. That technology has been here since 1988 and has been used commercially to sell soft drinks in portable vending machines. There is nothing random about the recent shootings. They are instituted to bring about change. They are timed to perfection. Does the government test drugs and technology on US Citizens without their knowledge and consent? YOU BET THEY DO!! How come eyewitness testimony about a second accomplice in the Colorado theater has been overlooked?

I can't repeat what I've been saying in other threads today as I'm exhausted from crying and it huts to breath...Just to say I believe a new direction is needed and the NRA needs to be taken down a few notches and hopefully this tragedy is the beginning of their end about how relaxed their gun laws are...No More.....NO MORE!!!!!

horrendous, inexplicable but so sadly a seemingly regular occurence. Surely gun law must be tightened up.

Sometime it is so hard to realy tell what you have in your mind . Because that change your vision of your humanist feeling like and you don't whant to be like the person who do this so bad things . Why God permit this kind of stupidities genre ...Hoooo..... Prayers and demands for all in the need ,their life is completely broken and their feelings will be changed for a so hard position ,now they will look like zombies that changed their mentality for sure So hard to thinks for the best for all of them MICKEYRONY
