Description

I met today's random man on a dog walk at Throop. On his RC glider is a message remembering Pilot Jon Egging who crashed at Throop after the Bournemouth Airshow 2011. An inquest at Bournemouth Coroner's Court on 12 December 2012 heard he suffered ALOC (almost loss of consciousness) due to being impaired by a maximum G-force of 6.3. You can see a close up of him and the message Here

A most impressive wingspan on the model aircraft as depicted in this cool capture, Andrea. It looks as if it's just a simple glider and not motor propelled. The aircraft contrasts well against the dark background.

I like both images very much, but I think I prefer the intimacy of the other one. He has a nice face, and something essential comes through in the close-in shot. Excellent additions to the series!

Hmmm, an RC glider! You don't see these very often. I would think he would have trouble finding thermals in that weather. Did you see him fly it, or was he weathered out? I also like the close-up of his face of character.

This is a great shot Andrea and a wonderful memorial to "RED 4". An amazing glider that he has made - a lot of work!
