Description

with his chief scientist and personal toady, Desaad... They are backed up by a small squad of Parademons... Created by Jack Kirby waaaay back in the 70's, The New Gods was a break away from the standard story lines at DC Comics... originally called The Fourth World, these stories highlighted the tales of beings from New Genesis and Apokolips, rule respectively by Izaya The Highfather, and Darkseid... the characters also included the sons of these two leaders, exchanged to the other sides as part of a peace treaty....Izaya's son, Scott Free was raised on Apokolips where he learned escape arts from Himon and eventually escaped becoming Mister Miracle... Darkseid's son Orion was raised on New Genesis, becoming it's protector, his monumental anger kept in check by Motherbox... Other characters included, The Forever People, Big Barda, TheFemale Furies... and of course Parademons... Darkseids personal army of flying monkeys and cannon fodder... The story was fascinating, and the characters crossed over into many (if not all) DC titles... if youknow about this, you'll know I onlyscratched the surface... if you didn't know, maybe make a note somewhere to have a look into the whole ball o' wax... about the image... this is a test piece, I wanted to see if I could do the characters justice... need some fine tuning on Darkseid... when I did Desaad, he started to look a lot like (a very fine actor) Julian Ritchie.. odd that... and the parademons might need some real work... in the future.. iClone is fun to work within this environ... post was tooned up a bit in GIMP... lemme know watcha think... comments welcome, even the nasty Ayn Rand-oes are welcome.... and unless you've made other plans, have a nice day!

I have no idea what DC Comics are? - they didn't grow up with me, guess that's revealing my age group? - but what the heck! when I grew up in Berlin I had read some called 'Tom Mix' & 'Karl May' (Cowboys & Indians stuff ???) - go figure ... probably a loophole there somewhere in my education of the Western World, as we used to call it! now to your dilemma: Duplication of the Parademons - and all those other weird names, I am confused - can you believe that? - but interesting specimens! I am not into Mr. Musclesack ... testing, testing ... done! BB
