Hi.
Greetings from sunny Auckland, New Zealand.
Firstly, you have found your way here so a BIG thank you for taking the time out to visit my homepage :O)
Though I have been a member of Renderosity for many years.. every day I am discovering new artists and their work.. one of the REAL pleasures of 'being here'. The quality of work on show, and the generosity of fellow artists in helping lesser experienced people like myself makes this a fantastic community to be a part of.
As for myself...now on the wrong side of 50..and work virtualy solely in Poser with some postwork using Adobe.. pretty much standard stuff. I have a science and technology background, and work in industry.. thus an artistic 'bent' is not natural for me, nor is an artistic imagination part of my makeup.., but technically it's passable!!
My primary interest if you haven't guessed is "Pinup" art.. I just adore the female form,.. but love Sci-Fi and fantasy art as well.
Inspiration, apart from what I see here, comes from Music and other great artists too like Roger Dean, Boris Vallejo, Patrick Nagel,Vargas, ArchieDickens, Olivia De Berardinis,Gil Elvgren,Jennifer Janesko to name but a few.
Thanks for your visit, take care
cheers
Martin

The Spitfire has a special place in my heart considering what she and her pilots did for my country. "Never was so much owed by so many to so few."

WoW!!!!!! Martin... Mate this is fantastic!!! This really needs to be zoomed in to appreciate all the work that's going into this magnificent build. It's sad about the crash but at least Tim was ok even if it did leave him medically unfit to fly. Post away mate, they'll be very helpfull to model builders. Oh just don't use the word Anal... as you seriously risk setting Neil off :)

Next to the P51, this is my all time favorite. I've read that they are the same plane, one belonging to the U.S. and the other sent to England during the Second World War. Or, did I misread that?

Great shot. It'll be wonderful when they get it flying again. Some things were never meant to stay on the ground.

The parrot is quite a good boss ! As he repeats : "do thiiiis...do thiiis..." And approximatly the same color...so. I agree with ZanderXL : the best hunter ever ! We were all "saved" for 20 miles/hour more...We are little thing...that it could be the end of Times lol

The Spitfire reminds me of my young days when I was a fan of the adventures of Biggles...Super shot, thanks for sharing.

Great details down to the name on the engine ... I remember these flying during the war (though not the great battle).
