Description

Cacti and succulents galore, captured back on 8/8/09, on the beautiful grounds of the beautiful Huntington Botanical Center and Conservatory, in beautiful San Marino, California. Definitely a sticky wicket. As you can see, lots of cacti of the Golden Barrel variety in the garden. For those who prefer stand alone pics in re this genre, sorreeee, but I have gazillions of these desert garden fotos languishing in my nearly forgotten files. Ergo, I'm no youngster, tempus fugit, so they will be posted in the most efficient and expeditious manner. As always, please ZOOM. Toodles, and have a nice day.

Amazing collection of plants here, and it must be an awesome place to visit. I see a few small purple flowers in the 2nd pic...and some of the Golden Barrels have blooms also.

Now that is impressive AND further more a great idea Harry! Well posted.. Great idea to show the label as well, nice touch.. By the way, was VERY busy yesterday have been for days now..
