Description

Lilith stumbled through the gap in the trees, exhausted she fell on the log, bruised, battered, all that she wanted to do was escape this wretched place, end her part in the war she had been trapped in for three months now. This small hidden clearing at last seemed to be the only place safe from the horrors that filled her days. Slowly the gunfire, the tortured screams and the acrid smell of smoke faded to the distance. Lilith suddenly realized she had been shaking violently, catching her breath and breathing slowly she managed to calm herself.....5 minutes passed and all she could hear was the sound of her breathing..finally, finally she was alone. BEEP...BEEP...BEEP...BEEP Her bio suite activated. " So, this is the way it's going to be..oh well, i can't give any more, let the damn re-claimers find me and take me and use my body for spares. At least i will be able to sleep here for a while " Lilith stirred ,stretched and noticed it was getting dark, then she heard them, creeping up on her ...to her left the glow from the eyes.Closer, getting bolder by every inch " A fitting end, torn to pieces by these...a just desert for all i have done to their world HA !!!. go to hell re-claimers these will get my body before you !!!!!! " With a low growl the largest of the four biters that had found Lilith moved to strike, then stopped, turned it's head one way then the other as if trying to work out where a sound was coming from... " Come on...END IT !!!! " screamed Lilith. The biters froze but keeping Lilith within there gaze moved back slowly to the cover of the ferns. That was when Lilith noticed the light, slowly growing, almost from a speck, it's radiance increasing until shimmering ,moving it danced in her gaze..Lilith could not look away, it filled her whole being, she was aware of everything around her, she could feel the forest, every branch, flower, animal..insect, everything, she suddenly felt alive like never before..but calm. " Lilith " She heard the voice " Lilith " She could not pinpoint where it was coming from, it was just all around her, in her " Lilith, child...sleep, your war is over " Lilith slowly sank to the forest floor, she felt like the forest itself was holding her, lowering her to the ground, she sank into the soft moss before a blissful dark covered her mind. Thanks for the peek folks, please ZOOM, best in full view , Cheers

yeah and i agree with mike a fine read indeed,i must also integrate more deepness in my stories. i just tend to write down the facts i should also write ,about heavy breathing or when the rain falls, and all the little details that makes a story more dense. thanks for the lesson bro. nice work btw.
