There you have it in a nutshell - I can't argue with that, I wouldn't know any better ;)
The main thing here is, we are sweating it out in the Southern hemisphere and while you are all freezing your butts off ... and we are thinking of you but don't envy you, sorry my friends!

You did great here Brigitte. I love all the colors, and also to see you both here in such a great way. The flower really fits the colors of your outfit, dear friend, as Jeff seems to paint some in the open air. Yes we could be jealous about your weather, but perhaps we are saving so much money now with no need a deodorant. LOL! At the first sight I thought that flower was a Fuchsia. A very beautiful christmas card from you and Jeff and I hope you both have a lovely christmas and some shrimps on the barbie etc. Christmas seems to have caught up very quickly and gee I haven't even got round to putting last years resolutions into place so they will definately just be a perrenial list now. They say we are going to have drizzle for christmas day so it may even be a fire. Where is summer????

Amazing and truly mind-blowing what NATURE can create that puts anything we humans can ever contemplate in our feeble minds to shame. Again, you have managed to capture an image of an object that I am drooling over. Thanks for bringing this picture to my computer screen, and allowing me to see what you saw at that moment. Gorgeous. Oh, and I'm jealous you are enjoying such great weather. It's freezing here, and they are calling for snow this week. I don't mind that part too much, because it's going to snow tomorrow for Chrismas Eve, which hasn't happened in nearly 13 years in my area. Talk to you again soon.
