You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Somehow the filing cabinet seems inappropriate in his context, the only one you have shown us which is! I love the Fridaa!

I think I'm getting good at this. I figured out the first two before I read the descriptions. I really like the whale's fluke. I would interperate #8 as a politician with briefcase. You know, whichever way the wind blows.

The Humpback Whale pectoral fin is the total winner here for me as I studied whales quite a lot in my younger days! It is symbolic of so much we do not know, and has inspired aeronautical innovation. These fins are the largest movable parts of any animal on the planet.

I think they all rock, I really like the simpleness of the beach towel, but the Windmill dude does it for me this time...talk about air-heads ! It been a great series and looking forward to next years entries ! ~Cheers~

That number three and eight are so very cool looking to me. But again, dear Gitti, all of them is amazing to me. A pity you missed the evening show, but indeed, another year is coming with new changes. Thank you so much for your wonderful uploads, and all the good work to explain, a.s.o. It's a great job you've done (for us), my Ausi-friend. btw, here in our neighborhood we have a statue which is very equal to that rust nmb four. When you come I'll show it to you, right?!

Love the whale, love the beach towels! When I looked at #3, before I read the description, I thought, "Wow ... that looks like Frida Kahlo." It's nice to be right once in a while! LOL! Anything rusty is good. Somehow the last ones weren't as interesting to me as the first four. I have REALLY enjoyed this series! Thanks for sharing more of them with us! :)

To Frida I now think less. More girls in Hawaii. But anyway ... I find her beautiful colorful!! Aloha he...

OMG. I love them all, but #1 and #8 are my favs here. I haven't had time to browse the galleries lately, so I apologize if I missed anything new. These are all great. May I ask you... do you travel to places specifically for sculpture shows? Have you ever been to the Corning Museum of Glass in Pennsylvania, US? It's one of the world's most amazing glass museums. Some incredible works there, along with interactive shows, glass blowing, etc.

A wonderful collage and I like the dogs kissing shadows!
