Description
NGC 7662 is a popular planetary nebula for casual observers. A 6" telescope with a magnification around 100x will reveal a slightly bluish disk, while telescopes with a primary mirror at least 16" in diameter may reveal slight color and brightness variations in the interior. This is a stack of 3 hours of data from last night, shot thru a 6" astro tech reflector, cg5 mount, autoguiding and canon rebel xs. I am testing a base by ADM. It is awesome!
I shot the Owl Cluster too last night. Thanks for viewing.

Beautiful photo, photos of stars like this (and a planetary nebula to boot!) really inspire my own space-art. What I love about this is you can really see why the name "Planetary Nebula" was coined. Wonderful!
