Description
This will be the last photo from Needles (at least for a while, as I think I will have more to post sometime in the future). This formation is vaguely mushroom-shaped, though admittedly with very thick stems, & more pinkish than the typical red-orange more common to the area. Next stop will be the Island In The Sky section of Canyonlands...

Yes, except for the thick base, they do resemble mushrooms. Great color, lighting and textures all the way around in this neat shot.
