Description
Busy day to-day, the crew worked well and we managed to complete the recovery before it went dark.The aircraft 'proper' came up under a rainbow,'Tailspin' says that's a good omen...it occurs to me he mentions omens quite a lot, a superstitious test pilot? I'll have to look into that.Anyway, we docked after dark so I gave the crew some beer tokens and the night off, we'll get this into The Plant in the morning for a thorough inspection.First glance says it's going to need all new glass work, the .30 cals are knackered but we've got hundreds of them in store.The fuel tanks actually look ok, it seems the 'leak' H&S detected came from an oily rag under the pilots seat...it must have moved when I was poking around the other day...Right, I'm off to join the others for some 'falling down water'...will keep you posted....
