Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

My old stomping grounds. Have not been up there in a long time and gives me the itch to take a drive and spend the weekend up there.

We spent one night in the motorhome at an RV park at the northwest end of Clear Lake in a little town called Nice. We were right across the street from the lake. It was actually very pretty that day! I took a bunch of pictures. Thanks for reminding me ... I think I may have posted one picture from there, and I got a lot of ... well ... Nice ones! LOL!

Nicely done Marilyn. The sound you hear from a long way off is two hands clapping:) You've sent us both back to our photo files from there....hmmmm, might have to post a few one day soon.

Pollution reigns in what appears to be a lovely lake in this outstanding panoramic scene, Marilyn. Humanity fouling its nest.

It looks idyllic in this shot, Marilyn!
