Description
Well, following yesterdays sad news I gave the staff the day off.Early this morning 'Tailspin' offered to transport the Dauntless to the restoration department, this surprised me as he doesn't usually volunteer for anything.I was even more surprised as there were no strings attached...
We were asked some years ago to provide operational back-ups for some of IR's equiptment, it has often come in handy having it around...the elevator cars in particular, for transporting large objects around 'The Plant'.
'Tailspin' has taken Stingray out to search the Duck Pond for other hidden gems...and to be alone with his thoughts. The last few days have hit him hard as he was an uncredited stunt pilot in many Thunderbirds episodes.....if it crashed, he was probably the pilot.
Well, I suppose I'd better find something to occupy me while they restore this, I'll keep you posted......

A very imaginative use for the Elevator Cars. Thunderbird 2's pods had some great land rescue vehicles, Firefly, The Mole and the tracked Recovery Vehicle spring to mind. I also loved the Hover Bike's. A great tribute scene Neil :)

Great job with the texturing on the crashed plane! I wonder how many will notice that! I also like the flying thing-a-ma-jiggie. And love the story. So, Tailspin has a bit of heart, too. And introspection. Please do keep us posted as to what's going on inside that large concrete building! Keep up the good work, and wishing you and yours a Happy New Year and don't get blown up in some new super plane trial flight (also known as fireworks)! :-)

Actually, I'd like to have seen a render of the crashed plane done for real. Like its texture.
