My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

I love how you have done this beautiful bunch of lilacs. Excellent work.

You did well here! It's harder than it looks, I know that for a fact!

I like the image and at least you tried it with good results I might say I might have to get this program Would love to know if it's an easy program I think you did a great job and it's a fav with me Susan~

I like your version too..so colourful and cheerful..

Massively wonderful! Lilacs are among the only flowers I can identify, and that's mostly through their scent. I can almost pick up their scent here! The colors are superb and it's so completely alive! It's a gorgeously perennial lilac. The best kind!

Beautiful dedication,Tara. Well done.

Magic! I like them both equally! Glitter tool, eh? How about that! I haven't got to grips with Artrage at all yet, but I will one day.

This is an exceptionally fine first effort. I particularly like your interpretation of the lilacs. I couldn't quite put my finger on the difference between your image and Helle's. Then it hit me. Her's looks like a watercolor while yours looks more like an oil painting.

beautifully "painted"

I rather like the image Tara but perhaps a bit too tightly cropped!

Outstanding work. God Bless.

It's wonderful! I can't do something like that, way too difficult!

OH WOW! Tara. This is magical. I really love the result of this ArtRage Still life. Now I finally see what the glitter tool is good for. It is an absolute delight. And to be honest I like YOUR composition more than mine :)I must learn not to put my vases in the center :) Anyway, thank you for adding a link to my humble painting. This one is much more alive :-) LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Thank you so much. And I do hope this is not the last painting you do. YOU ARE GOOD, Lady !!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)))

Very cool effect Tara. I like the clear leaves and the flowers.

Makes me think of something Andrea might have displayed on her hall table. This is simply bursting with life. Nice job...Helle appears to think it better than the original...very complimentary.

You're not giving yourself enough credit, Tara! This is really beautiful! I think both yours and hers are gorgeous and they both reflect both of your talents! Hope to see you and Bill this spring - looking forward to it! :-)

Nice and interesting painting.

You know Tara, I am totally delighted with the way you've painted the flowers. What an airy and fabulous look you've created on them. I adore them. And to be quite honest, I prefer (as regards the flowers) to your painting. I do not know if Helle also used ArtRage. I know Helle is a good artist with real paint. So I certainly will not hurt our dear friend Helle with my comment here. Finally: "Hooray for you both." :D

the lilac is defenitly clear recognisable, the texture of the blossoms looks convincingly - it's very well done

Very nice...
