My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.

Oh, the gull of some people! Snapping pictures! As one of those picture snapping people, I have to say that this is a brilliant shot. I love the algae growth, the urban-shaded gull and the aforementioned gull's look of avian disdain. This is perfect.

I see a cold bird wishing he could wear a scarf and still fly:) I'll bet we could go to Mukilteo three times a week and get unique gull pictures. Niceeee.

Just wait'll he shows up on your doorstep with a model release... :-) He does seem to have a bit of attitude, and you captured imperfectly, Tara!

Oh, I must, I must! "Seals usually get fed but me, bupkis!" (Yiddish for 'nothing', well his name is Segal) I love the composition on this and his attitude does seem to be the avian equivalent of "Get off my lawn!"

All is quiet and this bird waits (may be) our departure of this World? Beautiful image Tara!

Such a beautiful POV here, Tara. I love the green and the iron-parts on that. Was the bird contemptuous because Bill took a shot too? ;-) Bye, friend. Sorry I made that writing-mistake, and called you a fried, by making your painting as a favorite. I was not quick enough (or too quick )to change it ;-)

Sometimes, its about adding interest to a shot. Love the set up here. Nice clarity, too.
