Description
Hello and thanks for taking the time to view my work!
I'm posting to make sure people know my store is on sale until January 16, and that I've got a new release out. Well, and I liked how the light and materials came out in this. I have two other "shots" from this release I liked a lot in terms of those aspects, and I'll probably post those as well before the sale ends. Pardon to those who follow my gallery for the repetition. Feel free to enjoy the imagery and ignore the promotion. ;D Don't worry; I still have a lot of regular images I'll be posting soon.
The scene is (as always) my photo studio. It uses two of my softbox figures and props in addition to an environment with a sky texture that shines through the windows and skylight roof. The background is the cyclorama. The divan is from an old DAZ PC prop set, but with my leather and reflective materials. The skin on the second character is a mix I made of Vanessa by Maelwenn and Alayeh by J. King (formerly Liquid Rust). I've been using it for a kind of caramel, cafe au lait skin tone, and it's been working fairly well. It might be good to start changing it up a bit, though. It's used with my own skin shader, while that of the reclining figure uses EZSkin2. As always, these are my own dial spun characters, and my own hair materials and diffuse textures.
I left the ad copy on this because I thought it would be good to promote what I see as one of the main benefits to using dynamic clothing. You can fit pretty much any character, in any way you like. Just scale the figure up or down in the first frame of the simulation (assuming the clothing is parented to the figure). For smaller characters, or a tighter fit, scale down. For a tighter fit with the same length, just scale in the z dimension. For larger characters or a looser fit, scale up. Because of how Poser dynamics work, the clothing will stay the same size while the figure transforms into your character.
