Description
Welcome! Thanks so much for taking the time out of your day to view my work. I really appreciate it.
I've posted this to my dA gallery already, so please pardon me if you've already seen this. It's me continuing to play around with my photo studio. I decided to place the figure by the windows and away from the cyclorama, with only the setting sun and an off-screen glowing object lighting the scene. So even though this is the studio, I'm really using it like an ordinary scene. I added a touch of atmosphere, which did just about what I wanted. It's very subtle, though, and I'm sure no one would notice if I didn't mention it. The dress, jewelry, and all the materials except for the skin are mine. I probably should have made the dress texture a bit more ornate, but I was basing it off a real dress design and texture. The dress, pearls and waist jewels are dynamic, though the earring isn't. It was all fun to play around with.
The character texture is Rachel by Thorne and Sarsa. The morph is my own dialing. The hair under my painting is Vanessa Hair by Maelwenn with my own diffuse texture.

I love the sweet, slightly sad mood of this...no matter how interesting the technical details are, the emotion in your art is what makes it extraordinary!

Winter is super chilly, and I have no central heat! I'd rather have summer and a good ventilator (Fan) to keep me cool!!

Completely agree with LWPerkins: indeed, to me at least it seems there is more than just a wistfulness for a season, here. She's playing with her necklace? And her outreached hand? I'm probably reading things into this. :-/ The hair texture is particularly striking... and the dress, beautifully draped! The unsung player here of course is your lightroom and your lighting. It looks to be a crucial adjunct to managing atmosphere of a scene. Well-composed image!

the dress outfit looks great, I like the color, texture. the beads on her hip makes me wonder how they are draped on her so as not to fall off. I like the blue in her brown eyes...yeah, I zoomed - lol
