Description

One of the Surrealists that caught my attention in art school was Yves Tanguy. His haunting landscapes consisted of stark objects that were s cross between solid matter and liquid. This little experiment struck home and I realized that Tanguy, as well all the others, were ahead of themselves. Without fractal generations they perceived the bizarre parade of hyper-dimensional nature.Enjoy!

Oh yeah, Tanguy had as unmistakable though different a style as Dali. When I first started using MB3D I wondered what Tanguy might have thought of it, I can think of 2 of his works Promontory Palace and Multiplication of the Arcs that look like they could have come straight from MB3D. Super work my friend Peace

In 10h grade I did a book report on Yves Tanguy for my mid term semester bonus/extra credit grade about his painting styles and made(IMO)a miserable attempt at trying to recreate/paint his 1942 Indefinite Divisibility ...I think the teacher felt compassion that I tried such a feat and gave me a C+ for not wanting to discourage me from broadening my horizons...lol....And no....before asking it didn't survive all these years as did not a lot of other priceless treasures that have gone with the wind through the years unfortunately...(sigh)... I see Tanguy in what you created above and also have wondered what he would think of MB if alive today... ~smiles~

absolutely awesome work! Tanguy had a vision that is remarkable .. he must've had a connection somehow, to the future, to see the things he saw and created.
