You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia, if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !** that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Nice work, I really like the color. We have been getting the news about the heat and drought and fires down you way. The news even tells us that there is a new color for the heat index, purple. Hopefully this will not last much longer.

This turned out great! I love the colors. Isn't it fun to play? :) I don't envy you the heat, even at 35C. Yikes!

So glad you are safe, although far too hot for me. I should love to see a whole crow or several in this great colour!

Very beautiful work, Brigitte! We are very sorry to hear on the news about the fires in Australia, and we hope that the heatwave will end soon. How about our having snow? Today is sunny, but cold!... Our planet is sending us signals and signs?

O.K., you know you'll probably get a visit from the Disney Police asking the where abouts of Huey, Dewy and Louie ! LOL Wicked tweaking and shiny result, all looking very swish, but not too good for the nekkid Crow ! Glad it ain't 45C...YET ! ~Cheers~ & Stay koooooool

Very creative and wonderful presentation of these gorgeous feathers. Awesome colors, lighting, textures and details. Very sad to hear of the wild fires and heat waves. I should not complain of the -20 something and snow. We can add clothing unlike, baring it all and still suffer with the heat. Happy to hear you and Jeff are in a safe zone.

A lovely result BB. Glad that you are safe and I don't envy the extreme heat. Being an ex fireman my thoughts are also with the men fighting those terrific fires.

Have been watch'n here in the States and reading online about all the extreme conditions you folks are having Down Under and with experience i can relate as as soon as our Winter months pass into Spring here I'm sure our continued drought and lack of winter snow should be a fore warning of things to come....You folks are in the headlines now and we will get our turn in the coming months.I hope things only ease for those effected in and around you. Your filter experimenting resulted in some cool effects to what would have been simply a couple feather into a wonderment of color contrasting. ~smiles~

Crikey it really is hot at your place when the crows are shedding their feathers. lol. Excellent shot and great tweaking. It has been hot here too, we had a 38C but it was followed by a thunderstorm so lots of rain. 'They' say the heat from Australia is leaking over the Tasman to us. We have had some fires too.

Such a beautiful shine and color you've created on these feathers, Gittie!. A great experiment, so clever done. I have to laugh about what Priska asked you, did you, naughty girl? Yeah I know, it's terrible with the fires, so dangerous. I was thinking about you a lot, because I saw this on the news, but since I saw you put comments on here, I know, it's not in your area. I am thinking of the people in need.

Hast du den 50% Filter angewendet? Cooles Ergebnis. Sei froh, dass du an der Küste lebst. Über 40°C ist mir echt zu heiß und ich bleibe in Berlin (-10°C).
