Description
This is one of the other variations of "I had a dream..."
It was much earlier in the progression, but I like it too.

This one is well done and I am glad that you shared but I really do like the more magical effects of the last one and the more vibrant color scheme.

whoa! So we get to see the worlds behind the girl and the horse---so glad you posted this. I fully understand "stages" in a work; that sometimes earlier stages speak a language all their own: All my progressive panel pieces, which go from one image to the next? I usually have 20 versions before I pick 3 or 4; so I know what you're talking about, totally. In this one, in addition to the greens, this has much greater 'exposure'---to use a photographic term: You've allowed much more light than in your later version. And in this, she seems to be galloping out of a breaking night, with mountains and canyons all around. Perhaps this wasn't as finished as you'd wanted, but the background has a defined yet amorphous presence---it can be mountains, canyons, etc, but it can also be a landscape we just don't recognize. And your light intensifies from the bottom of the piece right up the horse, leading to very touching blue-yellow-greens on its neck and face. The girl is now seen in full, with what looks like a native american shirt. And your shading is dramatic too...I love this variation. I for one never get tired of seeing "variations on a theme," because with artists like yourself, the variations are magic. A wonderful dual upload, and I love them both equally.

Very nice. I love the way the characters do not share the same gaze and the pony looks on in the future.
