Description

A month ago I took a drive out to this picturesque town in the Western Cape. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, it is well known locally for its wine lands. Many of these lovely buildings were destroyed in an earthquake in 1969 but quite a number survived the catastrophe. Church Street in Tulbagh is now graced by the largest number of original Cape-Dutch, Edwardian and Victorian national monuments in one street in South Africa and remains a major tourist attraction of the town to the present day. ~ Wikipedia ~ I used my circular polariser on this shot, hence the dark blue sky. Cheers, Clive

I see the small town of Montague that me and my wife visited more than a year back during our holiday in the Western Cape. Superb Capture Clive. God Bless.

A delightful looking place! And obviously someone is thinking of home protection here, notice the cannon outside his door ;-) Great shot mate! Rob
