My name is Clive, resident in Cape Town, South Africa. I am an amateur photographer who has been enjoying the medium in a more serious manner since 2003.
I took a trip to the UK armed with a Minolta Maxxum 7000 that I had inherited from my Dad.
Out of the holiday snaps, I managed to get a few that I felt were quite good, but had no idea of how I managed to get them 'right'.
Since then I have done a couple of courses in the darkroom and joined a local photographic society where I was on the committee for a while.
Hopefully I am getting it 'right' more often these days.
I have a Minolta Maxxum 7 and being tied into the lens system, the Sony A100 DSLR was my introduction to the digital world. This has recently been upgraded to the Alpha SLT-A55 and I have to admit that I have shot more digital in the last five years than film!
My daughter Kristen (Kris10) and son Sean (fotoSean) have accounts here too, in the hope that they will learn too and share my passion! Sadly they have been rather quiet of late, much like their dad...
August 2015 marks the end of my 3 years as coordinator for the Photographic section of Renderosity. What a wonderful time of my life that I thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you all for the opportunity!
Keep the smile alive,
Clive

Awww Clive - he is such a honey! I had such a giggle now about the TV but realise that he has probably never seen it before! I really hope he will bring much joy and happiness to your heart and home!

What an adorable addition to your family! He's such a cutie. :) It seems Mandy had never been in front of a full-length mirror before. We have full mirrored closet doors in the motorhome, which are usually open a few inches so we can reach in for jackets and shoes. One night while nearly asleep I heard a low growl, followed by the sound of a dog peeing on the carpet. I had closed both closet doors, and she was marking her territory against that other dog! Now I leave the door open six or so inches at night so she can see around the back of it, and all is well. You never know!

Awh He looks very content............ My guess he has never watched tv.....or had anyone give him that kind of love before............. Now if you learn how to massage your butt after sitting in the floor with him you got a pretty smart dog there LOL just teasing If I had the $$ would love to give to the HSUS think that's it...that yellow cat at the end looks just like my Mere Cat that was stolen from me..even has antics like it did...........licking it'd paw then reach up with his paw in the air...I see those lil animals that are so sick it breaks my heart....but then that is how they snare you in............LOL........really tho the money is for a good cause....wish I had to give to them.............the HSUS and for Cancer Research.. You did quite a good thing here..............rescued him probably from meeting his maker............you have a good heart...and Brady should thank his luky stars.......... Love his dark blue blankie..............and the dog is so cute looking..... Hugs Susan~
