this is wonderful shot. if i was there in the same place you standing. i not sure as the snow was coming down too heavy to see the far side . if the tree roots was out the ground by one of those trees i see here then i was standing in the same stop you was

Looks out towards the little town of Tropic UT. Have stayed there on my Cristmas hikes of this area. Winter in this area is to cruel to camp in...lol. Otherwise I just camp at large in the Dixie national Forest. The night sky is gorgeous out here.
