My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

There is something very appealing about this 'stage set' frontage. Although probably only because of your great pic!
jayfar
Nicely seen and captured Tara.

Elegant lines. Not a fan of malls, but this proves you can find beauty in the most unexpected places...

WOW it is beautiful... and did you note, what the perspective does to the sunshades. Look at the last one and turn your eyes to the next and the next. Then it is like they turn more and more to the photographer :) The fact that the building is round, makes this more visible of course. I am always fascinated by perspectives.

The "cut and paste" of architectural design!

Just like big eyelids blinking at me - and then 'eyes wide open' ... so neat and so pristine - so perfect! and somehow dramatic, in a world of chaos ;) BB

Maybe my imagination wanders more than is always necessary, but when I see this image (I saw it yesterday, but got waylayed before being able to comment) I'm struck by the idea that you've photographed a neat line of novice monks with their novice monk hoods up. They're holding sacred incense globes (filled with something sweet scented) and they're all nervous and slightly giddy because this is the day that they get to finish their initiation rites and get their new monk clothes (they're in a different color and probably with extravagant headgear!) Well...that's where my mind went when I saw this. Either that, or these could be the cowling for some really sophisticated exhaust/heat-exchange system employed by the hair-ologists of Juarez? At any rate, I love this image. It's so crisp and yet soft. Quite amazing!

Perfect perspective. Thanks for sharing for this photo gives great pleasure to my eye leading it ever so gracefully across the frame... expressing great art. I love it.
