Description
Very quiet around The Plant at the moment...'Tailspin' is in major depression mode following his grounding. He just sits around blowing half hearted raspberries trying to sound like an aero engine, sounds more like a flatulent test pilot to me! I have R&D working on something that should cheer him up, without infringing his ban.
For my part, I'm planning a trip down to the dump, see if I can find something worth renovating.
Some very interesting stuff happening at the Gerry Anderson Division, though they're keeping that hush, hush at the moment.
The main news concerns Doctor Von Krupp, she's asked for some time off.An avid 'walker' she expressed an interest in walking around The Duck Pond, I pointed out that the last person to my knowledge who completed that trek was my Grandfather, and it took him 3 months. He was a young man and fit as a flea at the time, there is also the matter of weather and erosion, which has made the Duck Pond MUCH larger now.We keep an inshore rescue boat on the Duck Pond for when 'Tailspin' is in the area, with him grounded, this is available and I suggested a boating trip.DVK agreed and loaded up with supplies, I could have lent a hand but she's the independent type and so I just stood admiring the view......across the Duck Pond..I've advised her to stay close to shore, and not to go wandering too far inland, especially up the far end. There are some very dark and unexplored regions that even my Grandfather wouldn't talk about...After his return he would thrash about in his bed having nightmares and 'squealing like a piggy', according to my Grandmother. I'm sure DVK will be fine, she's packed mosquito repellent and a Barretts Light .50, I just hope her mobile phone has reception out there, I've told her to report in every evening when she makes camp.
Well thats it for now, I'll keep you posted on further developements......

"'Tailspin' is in major depression mode following his grounding. He just sits around blowing half hearted raspberries trying to sound like an aero engine"... It's when he puts on a pair of flying goggles, puts his arms out and starts running round the garden that you have to start worrying :) As for DVK, well that's quite a view to admire. I just hope on her trip to the backwoods she doesn't fall prey to one off those low budget modern horror films that flood the 'Horror Channel' on tv these days :)

Hmmm, nice view of the Duck Pond. Nice yarn you're unreeling here, Neil. Pretty soon you'll be loading the prototypes for testing into trucks at night like Lockheed! I have to admit that I feel a bit sorry for 'Tailspin' being grounded..I know what that's like and it's no fun. He should meet Captain 'Wrongway' Peachfuzz, they could commiserate and blow rasberries together to pass the time away.

Gorgeous view of the Duck Pond. That is some great water you have coaxed out of Poser.

DVK appears to be in shape for whatever travails await out and around the Duck Pond. Nice yarn you are spinning up for us... Hope you have some interesting sea/float planes on standby in case something or someone let's the air out of DVK's transportation device:)

That's a very fine erm.....view of the ....erm.....duckpond you've caught there mate! So something dark and supremely evil lurks on the other side of the pond, than even your manly man of a Grandfather would talk about! I'm interested!! Fun Neil mate! Gave me a laugh as I freeze my nuts off here! lol Rob

cool work

Hmmm... could your Gandpa have run into my friend T.Rex's grandpa? Looks like you're having wonderful weather at the Plant. I'm (to quote Rob "-freeze my nuts off here-") cold - minus 20 Centigrade, 15 cm. snow. All last week was cold. Snow exported by the Scots (I don't blame them for it!) and cold from the Russians (they've got more than they can handle!). So it's a joy to have this view of the Duck Pond (and add-end-um). As UVDan says, great job with the water! Keep up the good work! This looks to be a great story in the making! :-)
