Heh Heh - very nice perspective. There's nothing wrong with viewing rear ends once in a while mate! I think this spacecraft is great - very fifties/sixties but still cool - am I describing you as well? :)

A swell take-off ramp just like the ones used for the V1s. I like the image layout - the buildings vertical sets off the rocket and launch ramp beautifully. Nice job with the fog in the distance, blurring the view of the end of the ramp. You, or Tailspin at the controls? Must be you - can't see you trusing this old memory to him! Keep up the good work! :-)

I remember Fireball XL-5 fondly from my youth (I used to build the ship out of Lego at the time), but had forgotten about both the launch-ramp and the control tower on the old TV show until I saw this! It's one of the first TV shows I ever remember watching as a child. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

I loved to watch this adventure as a kid! I think it's what gave me my lifelong love of sci-fi....this and Dan Dare or course. Oh and Supercar, Stingray, Thunderbirds...to name just a few.

Cleared for VFR takeoff on Rail 27. When leaving the atmosphere switch frequency to 122.4 for final directions to the moon. Well done Neil!
