Description
I decided this Friday I was going to remove some
walkin shower doors and recaulk the frames.
afterwards finding just hard it was to remove the
old silicon caulk, I went to buy new doors
before I left I took the old doors and placed them
in my garage next to a door to the patio.
after measuring the carton at the store I realized
it would not fit inside of my Rav4. I then rented
a truck from the store and left for home with the new doors.
when I got home I realized that I had forgot my garage remote control.
I drove around to the front of my house so I could go in to get
keys for my gate which then I could open the patio door to my garage.
when I started to open the door luckily I heard the glass shower doors
and grabbed them before they could fall. I then unloaded the
the new doors and went back to return the truck
after I came home I opend the carton to make plans to install
the new doors. that is when I found the base door guide was
not straight, being bowed
I went back to the store and they replaced the damaged trim.
so a job I thought would take me a couple of hours took all
day and I have still not installed the doors
I decided to wait until tomorrow when I would be rested
just like some Monday mornings back when I was working and
everything would go wrong
just because one retires, problems do not retire

Beautiful landscape! as for your day, You made a good decision. When things pile up that way, take a breath and let the nerves go. I'm sure on this Saturday all went very well.

Gorgeous capture of the scenery, It looks like some shots from old westerns I used to watch as a kid. The bad guys would be up in those hills shooting at the good guys. Your shower door frustration reminds of many times when I started some seemingly small house repair only to find it end up in some major labor intensive project.
