"what is this?" *Jade picked the small creature up out of the basket, giving an annoyed and pointed look to Kyle, who was lounging nearby. " what does it look like?" he answered in his usual manner. " it looks like.. a very small.. well.. I don't know what it is!" Kyle shifted on the grass and rolled over to look at her," Well don't HOld it like that!" he shouted, " you might hurt it." Jade shifted her grip and cupped the small wriggling creature in her arms. " ugh, fine." " I think it might be related" said Kyle. " related??! It doesn't even have a tail!" Kyle smirked. "maybe it has to grow in.. were you born with a tail??" Jade looked thoughtful for a moment and frowned at him. " I don't remember." Kyle smirked again and leaned back in the grass, looking devilishly unconcerned with Jade's discomfort. " well, there you go." " well, nothing.. what are you going to do with it?" she asked. " well... I thought I'd wait and see if it's mother came back. But.. I guess if she doesn't.. you'll have to take care of it." "ME??!!" Jade exploded, " I'm not taking care of this.. this.. !" The little being in question's little lip trembled.. and then her eyes got wide and weepy, and then she started to make a little sobbing noise... " aw, now look what you've done. " said Kyle ingenuinely. " you've made her cry." " I didn't mean to." Jade said quietly, and she began to bounce the little one up and down, until the quiet sobs turned into hiccups, and then little bouts of laughter. Jade looked at her curiously, her eyes widening a little. " She is, terribly cute. If her momma doesn't come back.. can we keep her??" To which, Kyle laughed and laughed... ~~~ Pippin is just adorable.. so I had to put her in a picture with her big sister/brother!
