To see the world as he sees, I think he saw too much. He took his life in desperation, when he lost touch, I don't degrade him, I've been there many times before, to that place inside you, where all you see is darkness, all you feel, is darkness, It feels like no matter where you step, it's the wrong place to be. and it feels like the world has declared war on the one and only, On the ones who have just started to run, It feels like the race is over, before it's barely begun. I started out doing a lighter piece before this.. but reading about unhappy people and finding out that someone I knew passed away, it put me in a little bit of a blue mood. Please forgive the poem, it's an old one, written when I was 16. Like many people, I battle with depression from time to time.. I find If i can reconized that I'm in a blue funk, and can go about doing things to get myself out of it. But in the past, I've been in some pretty dark places. When I read about people being in those dark spots, I just.. want to grab them and tell them to fight. Fight it. Don't let it win. The dark things pass, and Life becomes bright again.
