Description

After finishing the Fiery Furnace hike, we still had a few hours of daylight left, so we explored an area known as Park Avenue. This is a wide canyon with huge towering rock formations on both sides - sort of like walking down a wide New York avenue with skyscrapers on either side, hence the name. About a one mile walk each way that descends a little steeply at the beginning, but is flat & easy most of the way. That free standing rock formation in the background is known as the Praying Hands... Please zoom for better detail

@JuliSonne: Yes, I shot a few multiple shot panoramas on my southwest trip, but I haven't been able to reduce the file sizes to meet the 500kb limit & have it large enough to make it worth posting. I may spend some more time working on them & will post in the future if the results are satisfying.
