A chaque tragédie causée par les armes à feu, aux Etats-Unis, un sentiment d'incompréhension envers la constitution américaine renaît en France.

The internet and television weren't what the Founding Fathers had in mind when the y decided to protect free speech either.

Yeah, that's right... get rid of the guns. Wait a minute, isn't that what Hitler said? Look what a charmer he turned out to be.

It would be a Very Sad Day to have our Guns Taken away and another Super Power come in and Take us over. That will happen if we give them up. One of the Greatest form of Protection is the Fact other Powers knows most every citizen is armed and if we have to be we will protect our great Country.

Those who say We are law-abiding citizens Don't take our guns away Have a point I might think they're nuts But they're not crazy Wouldn't it be nice If they could say, Along with the other side, Yes we have a problem Let's try and fix it together Instead of standing in the way Waiting for more children to die Well, a girl can dream ...

Guns don't kill people, People kills people. When violiance becomes entertainment and become numb to it, people's morals are degraded. When people want to mainstream mentally troubled people we will have a problem. A lot of people are killed in many ways. Why is it that when people use a device to kill we blame the device. Chicago has the most restrictive gun laws in the country, however it also has the highest murder rate in the country. Gun laws have never helped protect anyone but the government take power from the people. Remember history remember Hitler.....

Four days ago 15 year old New Mexican teenager Nehemiah Griego took the family's guns and murdered his entire family. They included his parents Greg Griego, 51, and Sarah Griego, 40, and his three siblings, 9-year-old Zephania Griego, and daughters Jael Griego, 5, and Angelina Griego, 2. Outside the home was a sign reading "This house protected by Smith & Wesson". No comment here, just reporting the news. Feel free to discuss with the rest of the class. BTW - Very powerful words. If only those who need to read them would take them to heart.

Every time gun control is discussed, that bit about Hitler banning guns pops up. I wish people would check things like this for truth/fiction before spreading them. Check Snopes.com (http://www.snopes.com/politics/quotes/disarm.asp) or The Straight Dope (http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/1791/did-hitler-ban-gun-ownership). The 1938 Weapons act passed during Hitler's reign actually loosened gun ownership restrictions for non-Jewish German citizens. You can go to either of these sources or do your own Google search on "Hitler guns." We need a rational discussion of sensible gun control laws. Throwing in specious and untrue quotes that Hitler didn't make doesn't help.
