Hi All
This is my daughter and she really has a heart of gold. She loves animals, but especially dogs. Her one pet dog was found this morning, bleeding and almost dead. The vet said that he was probably poisoned. When criminals plan to break in, they usually get rid of your dogs by giving it poison. I really hope that is not the case. Please think of her dog (it is not this one in the picture). It is a little duchhound who's name is Astro. It will break my daughter's heart to lose him.
This photo was taken in Vilanculos. She played with this dog who enjoyed her attention. They entertained each other for at least 40 minutes.

Hi All, thanks for your comments. Just spoke with the nurse again and Astro is sitting upright this morning and at least is keeping in his water. He is on a drip and his intestines burned and when he is having bowl movements it is only blood coming out. According to the vet it is organic phosphate poisoning and they will only be able to determine the damage once he is taken off the drip. I hate the person who tried doing this :(

This is a darling capture and i will never understand why creeps have to harm animals when they give us so much love please let us know how he is doing and sorry this had to happen keep them close to ur heart and from harm.

Oh Colene - I am so sorry about this. Yes - it happens here too - dogs being poisoned. That is why mine sleeps in the house - I just grunt and bare (and clean) the muddy footprints. I have a mini dachsie myself and can only imagine how distraught your daughter must be. I really hope Astro will survive this. Lovely image btw.
