Description

Hi All Thanks for your kind words on my previous postings. I thought it will be good to post a photo of Astro, so that you all know how he looks like. This photo was taken quite some time ago. He is a bit older and a bit bigger. He is still though very small and petite and a very special dog as you can see. The vet said there is still no change in his condition. He is still on a drip. I hope he will be okay. If he gets through this, chances are good that he might remain with some permanent damage of some sort. Thanks for your thoughts and kind words. Colene

Oh Colene - he is indeed a very special dachsie. I will keep you all but especially Astro in my thoughts and prayers. I really hope that he pulls through with no permanent damage. My heart is breaking for your daughter. hugs

Thanks for all your whishes. Astro is doing better this morning. He drank all his water and kept it in. He is still on a drip though since he didn't start eating yet. I think they want to keep hard food away from him for a while. His bowl movements are still bloody. At least he is sitting upright and looks a lot better than yesterday. Thanks for having him in your thoughts and prayers. He means so much to my daughter.
