There are smaller front line fighters than this !! This is an aeroplane and somebody forgot to put glass in the canopy.....Pretty cool toy though all the same...taken at last years Waddington visit with Rob...a 'Reaper' or a 'Raptor' or a B-17 or something... Tomorrow......let's have a quiz!!

I'm thinking that the front landing gear is very complicated...almost looks like legs. Interesting concept...tho' someone really screwed up and put them on backwards!!

Superb capture and scale. Have no idea what type of aeroplane this is. However it appears to be a raptor from what little I have heard.

Ah ha! A Global Hawk. I suspect you know all this (you sometimes sneaky play-it-dumb guy) but the US Air Force, US Navy, NASA and the Luftwaffe all fly these. The German version uses German sensors and is named Eurohawk. And NATO has signed a contract for five... It is BIG:)

It has a face, with punch-out spaces for the eyeholes, so it can see where it's going. Are you sure some nut at The Plant didn't design this?

Looks like a whale with a torpedo launcher...maybe the whales are going to start fighting back...if so, Japan better look out!

It's not a Global Hawk.....it's a Hornet but unfortunately with budget cuts and the like they couldn't afford a windshield.

Pretty cool mate and ironically in that colour and with those curves it looks like it came out of an episode of Captain Scarlet :)

I know its cheaper... but there is something not quite the same about an 'aircraft' with no pilot.. Am I the only one? I can't get excited by there things but they are everywhere now.. This was interesting to see at Waddo, (I'd seen one at Dayton before but still), and yep! They ARE BIG! May Neil, they are more fun in the air? lol Good shot mate and I'd also forgotten lol Rob

Actually, 'bringer of random death to anybody standing around in a group in a country of interest to the USA' might be a more accurate description.

Oh, my. Another super-drone. Great for saving pilots lives when spying on things too dangerous to send in a manned craft for, but still rather unnerving when one considers the US govt. has ordered 800 to spy on US citizens in the US! This one looks quite like something from outer space, or, as auntietek suggests, from the Plant! Maybe your next modelling project? Keep up the good work! :-)
